Rite Aid 1/24 to 1/30

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$20 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video.
  3. Print out and take additional $5/25 coupons and $5/$20 coupons with you. Remember, the $5/$20 coupon is only available after you watch enough AdPerks videos. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. I try to print out at least 20 for the month as I average using around 5 a week. NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months. So if I have any extra I just use them the following month.)
  4. And finally, don't forget about Rite Aid's new Game of Life promotion that started 1/3/10 and runs through 2/27/10. The point of the game is to collect game pieces to win prizes. There are also specially marked game pieces redeemable for instant prizes. You can read more about the promotion at GameofLifeRulesGameofLifeGameboard, and BonusItemsEarnBonusTickets.
All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

This is the 1st week of February's SCRs! You should enter your remaining January receipts and then request your January check.

If you haven't requested your December check, the last day to do that is January 25th.

Current wellness coupons can be found here for household items, over the counter pain relief medication, and hair care items. And they can be found here for $4/20, electronics items, snack items, and prints. I have not included wellness coupons in my scenarios. Using them will change the scenarios below. You will need to add more fillers to your purchase to keep your OOP costs in the positive.

  1. Thanks for sharing your scenarios.

Can you print > 1 Video values $5/20 coupon??
(Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. I try to print out at least 20 for the month as I average using around 5 a week.
I printed 1 the other day but did not notice the print no. option...oh well...

  2. I don't know how it is possible to use more than 1 video values coupon. It only lets me print one and that's it.

  3. Carol,

You are in luck, if the one you printed the other day was for the month of January, then you have the opportunity to go back and earn a $5/20 coupon for February now. February's video values started on Sunday. : )

    moochyschwag,

You are not alone. Many people wonder the same thing. Read Carol's post above or the top of my post, bullet point three. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

  4. I have a question about the Healthy Heart rebate - technically you aren't paying for the Nature's Bounty Vitamin D after all of the coupons and it states, "Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used)." So, doesn't this mean that this does not, in fact, count towards the rebate??

  5. While this could certainly be true, in the past the Rite Aid rebates that have had a similar qualifying statement have not actually worked that way. When you enter the receipt online, the sale value is what shows up, not the full retail value. Coupons have not been subtracted in the past. If that is once again the case, then the Nature's Bounty will work just fine.

Again, since this is how it has worked every other time Rite Aid has put such a qualifier on a rebate I am going to assume that it will work this time as well. I'll know for sure after this week (after I've gotten to the store, entered my receipts, and then waited the appropriate number of days for them to show up.)

  6. Hey Erin,

Thought I would let you know that there are $1.00 off coupons for the Ester C in the welcome to Rite aid brochure, also there are $2.00 off any vitamin 2.00 or more in the wellness coupons. They have been letting me use all of them together. Thank you for all your time.

  7. Thank you, Debbie, I updated the information above.

So your store is letting you use 1 MFC, one Rite Aid coupon, and one RA VV coupon all on 1 bottle of Ester-C? That's great!! You must have a very coupon friendly Rite Aid.
