Giant Eagle: June 30-July 6

  • Giant Eagle's ad runs from Thursday to Wednesday.
  • My GE doubles all coupons up to $0.99.
  • Don't forget to load your GE card with Giant Eagle's EOffers and with e-coupons from Shortcuts and Cellfire. (If the same coupon is on more than one site, only load one at a time. After you have redeemed/used the first coupon, then go back and load the next. If you load both to your card, you will loose one of them. Also, don't load more than 45 eCoupons/eOffers to your card. For some reason your card will malfunction when there are more than 45 eCoupons on it at any one time.)
  • Be careful with the CAT deals. If you do two of the same CAT deals in the same transaction, the CAT may not print. Check your ad to make sure that you separate like CAT deals into separate transactions.

Shop 'n Save: Coupon Matchups 6/23 to 6/29

A Shop 'n Save just opened up near us and I'm really just testing the waters to see how much I like and can save at this store. Previously I put together a post of all the things I found out about Shop 'n Save and their coupon policy.

Three main things that you need to take note of: (at least at the Cranberry Twp, PA Shop 'n Save)
     1. Shop 'n Save honors competitor's coupons. (grocery store coupons)
     2. Shop 'n Save doubles coupons up to $0.99. (A $0.75/1 coupon will double to $1.50/1.)
     3. DND coupons are not doubled.

The Kuhn's ad (at least Cranberry Twp, PA) has a $10/$100+ purchase coupon and a $5/$50+ purchase coupon this week that could be used at Shop 'n Save. Both coupons are valid June 22nd-28th and are not good on milk, cigaretts, or other items prohibeted by law.

Also, Giant Eagle just sent out new coupons for $5/$50+ purchase coupons that could also be used at Shop 'n Save. The Pine Township Giant Eagle also sent out a FREE Market District Pasta ($2.50 value) coupon. Any ideas on which product this could be used for at Shop 'n Save.

I'm on vacation this week in Alabama (for a family wedding). Expect the matchups to be a little short this week. I'm going to be focusing on the biggest deals that I see, starting with the catalina deals and such. Please feel free to share any matchups that I miss.
  • Don't forget to load Shop 'n Save's eCoupons to your card!

[NOTE the Coppertone Sun Care coupon on page 12!! After the new RA coupon policy came out a number of RAs once again began to say that you could not use an in-ad coupon stacked with a VV coupon. While it is tecnically RA policy (and was part of the old RA coupon policy as well), it was never enforced at any stores I visited due to clear contraditions in RA's own ads. When the new policy came out I tried very hard to remember not to stack them . . . at least until I could determine whether or not RA was serious about this . . . this time. It now appears that they are not. I'm going to be keeping this ad - to pull out and refer to as needed.]

Check back as I plan on updating this list with the coupon matchups/deals that I see.

Let me know what you see.

New to Rite Aid shopping? Visit the RiteAid page for more information.

earn 2 $1.50 +UP Rewards from St. Joseph
(like MAKEing $0.76 on everything in this scenario!)

If I roll the +UP Rewards from one transaction to the next, I will end up paying a total of $2.21 OOP for products with a sale value of $34.96 (that is, if I didn't have any +UP Rewards from previous weeks . . . which, of course, I do). I will have earned $0 in SCRs which will get sent to me in check form (that I can cash at the bank) at the end of the month. I will receive a MIR check for $0. And I will have $7.99 in +UP Rewards left for other purchases this week or next. That's like MAKEing $5.78 on products with a sale value of $34.96!

Shop 'n Save: Coupon Matchups 6/16 to 6/22

Both coupons are valid June 15th-21st and are not good on milk, cigaretts, or other items prohibeted by law.

Also, Giant Eagle has been sending out $5/$30+ purchase coupons that could also be used at Shop 'n Save. The Pine Township Giant Eagle also sent out a FREE Market District Pasta ($2.50 value) coupon. Any ideas on which product this could be used for at Shop 'n Save.
