Rite Aid Deals And Transaction Scenarios 9/19 to 9/25

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video. While there does not appear to be a limit as to how many Video Values accounts you can have per address, your Wellness+ card will remember which coupons you have used (VV coupons with long barcodes only). You will only be allowed to use 1 coupon (with long barcode) per Wellness+ card per month. Once a coupon with a long barcode has been used, it can not be used again, not even on another Wellness+ card (it will beep at the register and say that it has already been redeemed). If you have a Video Value account and your husband has one too, then you are going to need two Wellness+ cards (one for him and one for you) in order to be able to use all the coupons.
  3. Remember to still print extra of the Video Values coupons with the short barcodes. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. (NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months.) While all the Video Values coupons will print more than once. Some have a unique barcode that will only allow you to use the coupons once. Others can still be used more than once. The rule is - long barcode = only 1 use; short barcode = multiple uses.) For more information, please read my post HERE.
  4. Rite Aid rolled out their new program Wellness+ nationwide. If you haven't already done so, sign up for your rewards card online or in stores. You may also wish to consider getting your husband a Wellness+ card too. Starting August 1st all +UP Rewards will be tied to your Wellness+ card. There will be a limit of 1 +UP Reward per card per week (unless otherwise stated). If you have trouble getting the +UP Rewards to print, give RA a call. They are reimbursing the +UP Rewards that should have printed:
    Public Relations Dept.
    Rite Aid Corporation
    Camp Hill, PA
    Office: (717) 975-5713
    eharkreader@riteaid.com (Eric Harkreader)
  5. Print out EXTRA $5 off any purchase of $25 or more coupons HERE (exp. 9/30/10) or HERE (exp. 10/31/10).

All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item and/or 1 +UP Reward per item.**

Last week was the week of the toothbrush at Rite Aid (depending on the size of your family, you many now be stocked up for an entire year). This week it appears as if Rite Aid is really trying to push the food they carry. I don't think I can remember another week where there was so much food for FREE or very cheap.

Keep checking those expiration dates on your +UP Rewards. Use any that expire this week.

**I'm pretty limited in when I can use a computer right now and when I can't (ie. I have to wait for my husband to bring his home from work). So, I can either just wait to post this or I can go ahead and post what is already here and just update this post as I have a chance. I'm thinking that you all would rather have the post, and just have to come back for updates. (If you happen to see separate posts go up throughout the day, that does not mean that I have a computer to post from. Check the time the posts went up. If they went up on the hour or half hour, then they were previously sceduled posts. I'll probably not be able to actually post/update anything more until very, very late tonight. It would be very helpful if you would take it on yourselves to answer any questions people might post in the comments section. Also, if anyone puts together a scenario and leaves it in the comments section, that would be helpful to others who check this blog. Thank you so much.**

Yes, I'm sure there is more. However, this is all that I have at this time. Look for an update from me very late tonight (or just wait until tomorrow morning). Until then you are completely on your own (as if you couldn't survive without me).   : )   **I'm really hoping someone will help me out and post some scenarios.**

  1. You do so much to help so many people out and I just want to tell you thank you. I am not that great with creating scenarios, but I use your site to do so. This is what I did today. I started with $11 in UPs:

    1 Febreze Green Tea Soy candle-2.74 clearance(used $2/1q)
    2 Glade Reed diffuser-2.49 clearance(used $2/1q)
    2 JFrieda RA shampoo-$10(used 2-$3q)
    2 JFrieda RA conditioner-$10(used 2-$2IPs)
    2 Listerine Zero-$2.99 each(used 2-$1IPs and $1vv)
2 Dial Hand soap-$2.29BOGOF(used 2-$1/1 RA book of savings)
    -5/25
    -$1/10 Hair Care wellness q
    -11 UPs
    =0.99
    tax 1.20
All of this for 2.19 and got back $9UPs(2-$3 for JF, 2-$1 for Listerine and $1 for Dial)

This finished up my oral care rebate for $5 also! I am trying to decide if I am going to push it and go for the $10 gc!!

Thanks so much again for all you do!

And thank you for the SCENARIO! You've helped me out. I'm going to have to clip my glade coupons and go clearance hunting. : )
