Giant Eagle Coupon Deals & Matchups 9/16 to 9/22

Here are the highlights for this week. If you see any other fantastic deals, let me know.
  • Giant Eagle's ad runs from Thursday to Wednesday.
  • My GE doubles all coupons up to $0.99. (ie. a $0.75/1 coupon will double to $1.50/1)
  • Don't forget to load your GE card with Giant Eagle's EOffers and with e-coupons from Shortcuts and Cellfire. (If the same coupon is on more than one site, only load one at a time. After you have redeemed/used the first coupon, then go back and load the next. If you load both to your card, you will loose one of them.)
  • Be careful with the CAT deals. If you do two of the same CAT deals in the same transaction, the CAT may not print. Check your ad to make sure that you separate like CAT deals into separate transactions.
  • Remember, you can order coupons that you don't have from a CouponClippingService.

Carolina Rice (not in ad) 16 oz. $1.19/1
- $0.50/1 Carolina or River Rice, exp. 12-31-10 (RP 08/29/10; Order-QHunter) = $0.19/1
(NOTE: Did anyone else notice that the coupon in the Pittsburgh direct mail is for "Carolina or River Rice," while the coupon in the Washington Post is for " Mahatma or WaterMaid Rice?" The barcodes on the coupons are the same, which tells you that the coupon is for the same product. Appearantly it's all the same company. And if you look closely at the coupon in the Washington Post there is a picture of a blue bag of rice that says "Carolina" - but if you weren't looking for it, you'd miss it.)

Glory Foods Canned Good (not in ad - greens, beans, etc.) $1.69/1 to $1.80/1 = $1.80 or less
- $0.90/1 Glory Foods Canned Item, exp. 12-31-10 Printable = FREE
NOTE: This is a pdf file. You can print it as many times as you want. However, the coupon does state that it is limited to one per customer per day. Still with an expiration date of 12/31/10 there is a lot of potential. And one per customer . . . I have several people (ah . . . customers) in my family if there was a good sale.)

Bumble Bee Premium Tuna Pouch (not in ad) $1/1
- $0.55/1 Bumble Bee Premium Tuna Pouch, exp. 12-31-10 (SS 09/12/10) = FREE

  3. Note: the Jimmy Dean deal did not work out as expected. The $0.75/1 coupon does not apply to the sale items. Also the eOffer did not show up on my reciept. So double bummer....however I was able to use a $1/2 coupon from the same source (8/1 RP). I'm probably going to make another attempt and change some variables....we'll see if that makes a difference.
