Giant Eagle 5/6 - 5/12

It's been a while since I posted any Giant Eagle deals, but since I'm going today. . . I figured I might as well.

We have been basically eating out of our pantry for a month. That has helped us to save money and help make some room in our pantry and freezer for new things!!  : )  At this point in time, it's getting a little hard to come up with meals with what we have left. (Okay, we still have around 18 bottles of ketchup . . . but no hot dogs, no ground beef, no bread, no butter . . . we do have a lot of pasta and spagetti sauce.)

So here's what I'm getting with coupons:

I have a lot of these coupons.

- 2 $0.75/1 (3/28/SS; 5/2/SS) = $0.98/2
- $0.50/1 (Shortcuts or Cellfire - only one will come off) = $0.48/2 OOP (This will only work 1x or 2x.)
- $1.00 OYNSO wyb 2 = MAKE $0.52
(Even without the Shortcuts or Cellfire coupon these will be FREE.)
(Make sure you only purchase 2 in a transaction as the CAT will not print multiples.)

- 3 $0.50/2 (3/21/SS) = $4/7 OOP

We do still have beans, rice, frozen veggies (he, he) and several other things . . . so, I'll still be able to come up with meals.  I need to see about getting some of the staples though.   . . . Butter is on sale ($2/lb - not great, but we need it).
