Rite Aid 2/7 to 2/13

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$20 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video.
  3. Print out and take additional $5/25 coupons and $5/$20 coupons with you. Remember, the $5/$20 coupon is only available after you watch enough AdPerks videos. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. I try to print out at least 20 for the month as I average using around 5 a week. NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months. So if I have any extra I just use them the following month.)
  4. And finally, don't forget about Rite Aid's new Game of Life promotion that started 1/3/10 and runs through 2/27/10. The point of the game is to collect game pieces to win prizes. There are also specially marked game pieces redeemable for instant prizes. You can read more about the promotion at GameofLifeRulesGameofLifeGameboard, and BonusItemsEarnBonusTickets.
All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

Taking into consideration 3 small children, my in-laws being in town, the snow storm of the decade (ie. having to shovel for hours to get our driveway cleared), and a very busy Sunday covering for those who could not make it to church, I'm pleased with getting this out very late Sunday night.  : )

Remember that this is the last week to earn the P&G rebate #551 (buy $100, get $35 Visa reward card).

AND (drum roll, please) I won (Yes, I actually did!) a $20 RA gift card from the Game of Life. So keep collecting those game pieces. And let me know if you win something.

  1. Hi I was curious if printing $5 off $20 is ALLOWED to be printed out(number of copies)more than 1 time is it legal and is it accepted since it is the same bar code THANKS for all you r hints and savings i appreciate it

  2. Thanks for the great question. I wondered that myself at first. Obviously, I came to the conclusion that it is legal. I'll try to explain why below.

Do you remember/have the January Video Values coupon for $3/1 Got2b hair care product? On the coupon it states "limit 2 per customer." So Rite Aid is telling you that you can only use 2 coupons - which means that you would have to print at least 2 and Video Values will only allow you to choose to print the coupon once. You must manually change the print amount to 2. (What's still not clear is whether that is 2 coupons per transaction, per visit, etc.) The other Video Values coupons do not have this limit.

Is it allowed? The short answer is yes and no. It will depend on your Rite Aid - some will let you and some will not. I personally have never had a Rite Aid tell me that I could not use more than one, but I have heard of some people whom have had trouble with this. (Some people have reported that they are only allowed to use 1 per day or 1 per visit.) This is not common, so it is fairly safe to assume that you will be allowed to use more than one. (Much more uncertain is whether or not you will be able to group all your purchases together and use more than one $5/20 coupon on the same purchase. About 50% of the time I'm allowed to do this. It saves me the trouble of having to separate out all my purchases and it saves the cashier the trouble of having to ring me up 4 or 5 separate times. Generally, if someone is going to okay - or even suggest this - it will be a manager as the regular cashiers do not feel qualified to do this.)

So, what about the bar code being the same. Will the coupon scan? The coupon will scan with no problems (unless your printer is printing things too darkly - but then none of the Rite Aid coupons will scan and that is a different issue). Notice that the in-ad coupons have the same bar code (ie. the Clean & Clear coupon in my ad has the same bar code as the Clean & Clear in your ad and all the other ads) The bar code is not a problem.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Awesome Erin ,Yes thanks for your time and effort God bless you with all the work in this blog! Also I guess it does depend on which cashier and rite aid you go to I only have 1 around so I will give it a try and that was the main reason for the question she would wonder why I would have more than 1 for each month
