I made it out to RA today. And I can report a good trip. All my +UPs printed correctly, with the exception of the P&G deal (see below).
ALSO, I included a Viactiv in my second purchase scenario (and I did buy 1 today), but I'm saving all my other Viactiv coupons for the week of Jan. 30th. It will be a moneymaker then. : )
($6 MM w/ 4 coupons; a $13 MM w/ 7 coupons - I'll type up the scenario for you when it gets a little closer to that week.)
I'll just pick up where I left off in this post:
Purchase #5
2 Old Spice Red Zone Deodorant (pg. 1) 2.6-4 oz. (reg. $4.49/1) $3.97/1 = $7.94/2
(NOTE: w/ 20% Wellness+ discount this will ring up $3.59/1)
2 Old Spice Body Wash (pg. 1) 10-18 oz. (reg. $4.79/1) $3.97/1 = $15.88/all 4
(NOTE: w/ 20% Wellness+ discount this will ring up $3.83/1)
- 2 FREE Old Spice Body Wash wyb Deodorant, exp. 1-31 (P&G 12/26/10) = $7.94/all 4
- $1/2 Old Spice Deodorant Product, exp. 1-31-11 (P&G 12/26/10) = $6.94/all 4
[or $1/1 Old Spice Deodorant, exp. 4-30-11 (P&G Book)]
($15.88 towards $10 +UP Reward from P&G wyb $30 of select products - Limit 2)
3 Vicks DayQuil Sinex or NyQuil Sinex Liquicaps (pg. 1 - included in sale) 20 ct. $4.97/1 = $14.91/3
- 3 $4/1 Sinex Product, exp. 1-31-11 (P&G 12/26/10) = $2.91/3
- $10 +UP Reward wyb $30 select P&G products (Limit 2) = MAKE $7.09
Total before coupons $30.79
(**- $/$$ RA VV coupon - if you have one**)
- $20.94 (in MFC coupons)
- $9 in +UP Rewards from Purchase #4
Total OOP $0.85 + tax
earn $10 +UP Reward from P&G
(like MAKEing $0.15 on this scenario.)
(NOTE: If you have 20% Wellness+ discount, then you will be just short of hitting the $30 mark for the $10 P&G +UP Reward. You can either add Crest/Oral B to the transaction so that you hit the $30 and the +UP prints. Or you can do this transaction as written and call customer service and they will send the +UP via snail mail. The customer service agent I spoke with said that RA doesn't penalize customers who earn the 20% discount - ie. if your purchase would have been over $30 without the discount, then you can still get the +UP.)
Purchase #6 (The totals at the end of the post assume that you did the second option of purchase #6.)
Repeat purchase #5
OR
6 Vicks DayQuil Sinex or NyQuil Sinex Liquicaps (pg. 1 - included in sale) 20 ct. $4.97/1 = $29.82/6
(NOTE: Some states limit the number you can buy in a single transaction due to meth production . . . or something like that. Anyway, to avoid complications simply get a combination of DayQuil and NyQuil. Apparently, the limit is on the DayQuil. It varies from state to state - 2 to 4 per transaction.)
- 6 $4/1 Sinex Product, exp. 1-31-11 (P&G 12/26/10) = $5.82/6
($29.82 towards $10 +UP Reward from P&G wyb $30 of select products - Limit 2)
1 Crest Toothpaste (pg. 1) 4.1-8 oz. $2.97/1
- $1/1 Crest Toothpaste, exp. 2-28-11 (P&G 01/16/11) = $1.97/1
[or $1/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel, exp. 2-28 (P&G Book)]
[or $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste, exp. 1-31-11 (P&G 12/26/10)]
OR
1 Oral-B Cross-Action Manual Toothbrush (pg. 1) 1 ct. $2.97/1
- $1/1 Oral-B Manual Toothbrush, exp. 4-30 (P&G Everyday Savings Book) = $1.97/1
[or $0.75/1 Select Oral-B Toothbrushes, exp. 1-31-11 (P&G 12/26/10)]
- $10 +UP Reward wyb $30 select P&G products (Limit 2) = MAKE $8.03
3 TGI Friday's Snacks (pg. 12) 3-5.5 oz. $0.97/1 = $2.91/3
- 3 $1 +UP Reward (monthly deal - not in ad; test 1 to ensure this is working at your store. WORKED for me 1/16/11.) = MAKE $0.09
Total before coupons $35.70
- $25 (in MFC coupons)
- $10 in +UP Rewards from Purchase #5
Total OOP $0.70 + tax
earn $10 +UP Rewards from P&G
earn (3) $1 +UP Reward from TGI Friday's
(like MAKEing $2.30 on this scenario)
So again, picking up where I left off . . .
If I roll the +UP Rewards from one transaction to the next (ALL 6 transactions), I will end up paying a total of $6.84 (or $5.69) OOP for products with a sale value of $105.78 (that is if I didn't have any +UP Rewards from previous weeks . . . which, of course, I do). I will have earned $0 in SCRs which will get sent to me in check form (that I can cash at the bank) at the end of the month. I will receive a MIR check for $0. And I will have $13 in +UP Rewards left for other purchases this week or next. That's like MAKEing $6.16 on products with a sale value of $105.78!
There are still more deals that I would like to tell you about. Look for yet another RA deal post tomorrow. : )
You can see the rest of this week's Rite Aid coupon matchups HERE.
