Rite Aid Deals and Transaction Scenarios 8/29 - 9/4

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video. While there does not appear to be a limit as to how many Video Values accounts you can have per address, your Wellness+ card will remember which coupons you have used (VV coupons with long barcodes only). You will only be allowed to use 1 coupon (with long barcode) per Wellness+ card per month. Once a coupon with a long barcode has been used, it can not be used again, not even on another Wellness+ card (it will beep at the register and say that it has already been redeemed). If you have a Video Value account and your husband has one too, then you are going to need two Wellness+ cards (one for him and one for you) in order to be able to use all the coupons.
  3. Remember to still print extra of the Video Values coupons with the short barcodes. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. (NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months.) While all the Video Values coupons will print more than once. Some have a unique barcode that will only allow you to use the coupons once. Others can still be used more than once. The rule is - long barcode = only 1 use; short barcode = multiple uses.) For more information, please read my post HERE.
  4. Rite Aid rolled out their new program Wellness+ nationwide. If you haven't already done so, sign up for your rewards card online or in stores. You may also wish to consider getting your husband a Wellness+ card too. Starting August 1st all +UP Rewards will be tied to your Wellness+ card. There will be a limit of 1 +UP Reward per card per week (unless otherwise stated). If you have trouble getting the +UP Rewards to print, give RA a call. They are reimbursing the +UP Rewards that should have printed:
    Public Relations Dept.
    Rite Aid Corporation
    Camp Hill, PA
    Office: (717) 975-5713
    eharkreader@riteaid.com (Eric Harkreader)
  5. Print out EXTRA $5/$25Coupons (Thanks to Debbie!). They are good for the entire month of August! These Expire 8-31-10!

All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

This is the first week to earn September's SCRs! And there are new Video Value coupons to earn!

I'm not quite sure what to say about this week yet. Last week kind of overwhelmed me. I'll have to wait to see about this week.

  1. I haven't gotten my Sept. All you yet but its being reported that there is a $1/1 Nivea Lip coupon in it. :)

So, I switched from IE to FF and now I can comment on your blog. hee hee. Oh and our so trustworthy LA times did not give us ANY coupon inserts. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!

  2. Did you just get 1 paper? Or where they not in any of the papers?

I've bought a paper before only to get it home and realize that there were no inserts in it (when there should have been). I've called and they sent them to me in the mail. Don't know if that would work in your situation or not.

  3. Oh, and I'm glad you can comment now. . .

  4. I usually get 2. I always check my papers because sometimes like you said, 1 or 2 papers wont have the inserts. Out of a stack of maybe 20? I didnt see one in any of them. :P Since its the LA times A) we're not in LA and you have to have an account # to get a hold of someone. and B) most of them are not english speaking and its horrible trying to get them to understand what/why I am calling (about).

But that is why there are coupon places online right? :) :P

  5. I haven't printed RA video value coupons since the new format. Is there anywhere you can see which videos are worth more points or are they all just one now?

    Thanks,
    Michelle in Ohio

  7. I am not aware of any way to tell whether or not a video is worth more points than the others. They do tend to be worth more if the video is long. . . but no tips here on how to know exactly how many points each video is worth.

I do know that the videos are worth different amounts. For example, the Garnier video is worth 3 points. It also rewards you with more than one coupon. (It's a bit confusing. At first, it looks like you will be getting a $3/1 coupon for Garnier when, in fact, you will be getting a $1/1 coupon and a $2/1 - if I remember correctly - coupon.)
