Rite Aid 7/25 to 7/31

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video. While there does not appear to be a limit as to how many Video Values accounts you can have per address, your Wellness+ card will remember which coupons you have used (VV coupons with long barcodes only). You will only be allowed to use 1 coupon (with long barcode) per Wellness+ card per month. Once a coupon with a long barcode has been used, it can not be used again, not even on another Wellness+ card (it will beep at the register and say that it has already been redeemed). If you have a Video Value account and your husband has one too, then you are going to need two Wellness+ cards (one for him and one for you) in order to be able to use all the coupons.
  3. Remember to still print extra of the Video Values coupons with the short barcodes. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. (NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months.) While all the Video Values coupons will print more than once. Some have a unique barcode that will only allow you to use the coupons once. Others can still be used more than once. The rule is - long barcode = only 1 use; short barcode = multiple uses.) For more information, please read my post HERE.
  4. Rite Aid rolled out their new program Wellness+ nationwide. If you haven't already done so, sign up for your rewards card online or in stores. You may also wish to consider getting your husband a Wellness+ card too. Starting August 1st all +UP Rewards will be tied to your Wellness+ card. There will be a limit of 1 +UP Reward per card per week.
  5. Print out EXTRA $5/$25Coupons (Thanks to Debbie!). They are good for the entire month of August!

All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

Wow, there are SO MANY changes going on at Rite Aid right now. It's hard to keep track of them all. However, this is the first week where we will REALLY feel the changes. The $5/$20 June Video Values coupons have expired and the July $5/$20 coupons are one use only. July Adperks also had 2 $5/25 coupons. I'm going to count on being able to use 1 $/$$ coupon per week. (Hopefully RedPlum.com will have a $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon this month. Remember to back it up and print again.)

Remember that right now, +UP Rewards are technically unlimited. Rite Aid is still working out the bugs in their system, so some people are reporting that +UP Rewards print an unlimited amount of times while others only get them to print once per offer. (AS OF AUGUST 1ST ALL +UP REWARDS WILL BE LIMIT ONE PER WELLNESS+ CARD, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED!) I personally had the +UP Rewards print an unlimited amount of times as long as the +UP was not tied to an in-ad Rite Aid coupon. (Those only printed once.) If you have trouble getting the +UP Rewards to print, give RA a call. They are reimbursing the +UP Rewards that should have printed.

  1. The new coupon for getting the video credits for August is now $5 off of $25 purchase instead of $20. On top of that the $5 off $20 coupon that I earned in July and was worth that yesterday has now been changed to $5/$25. I can't believe they did that. I don't know whether to write to AdPerk or RiteAid reguarding this but I think that is pretty low. Thanks for letting me vent.

  2. Karen,

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I went straight to Adperks to check that out! Looks like no more $5/$20 coupons for us. And sure enought my $5/$20 coupon earned in July now also read $5/25. I was picking up my phone to call when I thought I'd select "print" . . . just to make sure. When you hit print, the print preview still shows it as $5/$20. I went ahead and printed mine. And it does print out $5/$20!

. . . So they haven't changed the coupon that we've already earned (which is good). I'm still disappointed about no more $5/$20 coupons. . .

  5. I know, Challice. I'm having trouble keeping up with them. At the moment, seems like every week there is a new rule or rules.
