Rite Aid Scenario's Week of 6/27 to 7/3

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$20 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video. There does not appear to be a limit as to how many Video Values accounts you can have per address. . . so sign up your husband, and the rest of your family, and earn more coupons if desired.
  3. Print out and take additional $5/$20 coupons with you. Remember, the $5/$20 coupon is only available after you watch enough AdPerks videos. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. I try to print out at least 20 for the month as I average using around 5 a week. NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months. So if I have any extra I just use them the following month.)
  4. Sign up for Rite Aid's Wellness+ if you haven't already done so. You can sign up for your rewards card online or in stores.
All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

A couple of things first, June SCR's are over and July's have started. There are also some new wellness coupons print from here. (They are $1.00 off any $10.00 shaving accessories, $1.00 off any household purchase of $10.00 or more, and $.50 off any snack purchase of $5.00 or more.)

There is a lot this week so let's get started!   : )

You can always do this scenario again, maybe add Wet ones instead of the plates, get some diapers or what I did was I eliminated the plates and added my husbands Claritin D and used my $10.00 +UP reward from purchase #1. By doing this I got his medicine and the $10.00 SCR on the batteries not to mention the extra $2.00 in +UP rewards.

I also came home with $13.00 in +UP rewards but I used as many as I could through out the purchases to lower my OOP :) I hope I haven't confused anyone and this all helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Debbie <><

  1. Erin (and/or Debbie),
I have taken the past month off of clipping coupons & checking the blogs... But I'm all caught up now and just realized R.A. is doing something called UP rewards?? Is this the first week with it? Is this going to be a pain like at walgreens where we have only 2 weeks to spend it and have to add all kinds of fillers???

Let me know what you think about it.

And thanks for getting all the transactions up so quick!

  2. No, the +UP rewards are not at all like Walgreens. They print on the bottom of you receipt and are simply RA cash. You can stack them if you want. The only requirement is that it is the last coupon to be scanned and you must owe at least what the +UP reward is. If the +UP reward is more than your OOP then you will have to add something. Hope this helps, and you are very welcome.

  3. Just went to Rite Aid today and used the newest 5/20 coupon for July good through 8/28 and the bar code is darker and I tried to do 2 transactions and it said it had already been used. I wonder if it is truly only one now per month or if it is by day or store. Fortunately I found another one expiring 7/24 and it worked. It will definitely keep me from Rite Aid as often.

  5. Erin,

Looks like it could be true about the 5/20 coupons... but I used 2 tonight without any problems, unless the cashier forced it through and I didn't know

It is true for the July coupons. If you were using some that you printed in June, then you could use more than one with no problem.

Also, I've heard reports that there might be a few July coupons that this does not apply to. I still have to look into that . . .
