Rite Aid 6/13 to 6/19

A couple of notes to start with:
  1. Make sure you know RiteAid'sCouponPolicy. Print out a copy to keep with you. This will be a great help when you get a cashier, or even a manager, who doesn't know the policy.
  2. Go to Rite Aid AdPerks to watch videos and earn Rite Aid Video Value coupons. You will be able to earn a $5/$20 Rite Aid coupon, as well as a coupon for each product for which you watch a video. There does not appear to be a limit as to how many Video Values accounts you can have per address. . . so sign up your husband, and the rest of your family, and earn more coupons if desired.
  3. Print out and take additional $5/$20 coupons with you. Remember, the $5/$20 coupon is only available after you watch enough AdPerks videos. (Rite Aid Video Values only allows you to choose to print the coupon one time. You can not go back and choose to print it again later. That being said, when you originally choose to print the coupon a print screen will pop up. On that print screen it has a place for you to type in how many times you want the page printed. I try to print out at least 20 for the month as I average using around 5 a week. NOTE that the coupon is good for 2 months. So if I have any extra I just use them the following month.)
  4. Sign up for Rite Aid's Wellness+ if you haven't already done so. You can sign up for your rewards card online or in stores.
All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

You'll need to get out early this week (by Tuesday) if you want to do the Gillette/Old Spice deal. I'm going to aim to be at Rite Aid tomorrow. (See purchase #3.)

  1. i went to rite aid this morning in GA, and when i try to do the dr.scholls there wasn't and in ad coupon, nor did it come up 9.99. any ideas to why?

  2. Heidi,

The Dr. Scholls coupon was on an extra ad insert. Some areas did not receive the extra insert. If you know of someone close to you who did get it, you could ask them to send you the coupon. (Or for that matter, I've got plenty of coupons - I buy more than one paper and therefore get more than one Rite Aid ad. You could email me at strivingtobe1faithfulsteward@gmail.com and send me your address. I'd be glad to drop an insert, with coupons, in the mail to you.)

As far as the $9.99/1 price. . . since it wasn't in your ad, it very well may not be on sale. When you did a price check, did you also scan your wellness+ card? The coupon does specify that you must scan your Wellness+ card to get the deal.

Anyway, I hope that helps clarify things. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  3. Heidi,

Just another thought - some people report that their Rite Aid's will price match another Rite Aid ad. Print off a copy of the Rite Aid ad (I've posted the ad on my site) to take with you.

  4. Erin, there's also a $2/1 RA Herbal Essences coupon in the $30 P&G coupon booklet (it was a May rebate when you bought $30 worth of select P&G products). Since this is a RA coupon, you could use it with the $1/1 manufacturer's making it a $2 moneymaker!

I couldn't stay within my monthly grocery/drugstore budget without RA.
