Rite Aid Deal and Transaction Scenarios 6/19 to 6/25

New to Rite Aid shopping? Visit the RiteAid page for more information.

All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

I'm going to need to come back and add to this. I've been VERY busy . . . the last half of the week especially. We are getting ready for another initial adoption interview on Monday.

Purchase #1

1 Zantac (pg. 5) 24-30 ct. $7.99/1
- $5/1 Zantac Product Printable = $2.99/1
[or $5 Zantac (mailer coupon)]
- $2 Zantac June RA VV coupon = $0.99/1
- $2 +UP Reward (Limit 4) = MAKE $1.01

1 Samy (pg. 9) fat foam hair color (reg. price $9.99/1) $8.99/1
(- Wellness+ discount = $7.99/1)
- $3 Samy Products Facebook Printable = $5.99/1
- $5 Samy Fat Foam Hair June VV coupon (no longer available - RA removed it.) = $0.99/1
- $5 +UP Reward (Limit 2) = MAKE $4.01

Total before coupons $16.98
[- $3/$15 RA survey coupon - If you use this coupon, you will need to add something that costs $1.02 after coupons to your total to stay out of the negative.]
- $15 (in MFC and RA coupons)
Total OOP $1.98 (Remember to use previously earned +UP Rewards to lower your OOP costs.)
earn $2 +UP Reward from Zantac
earn $5 +UP Reward from Samy
(like MAKEing $5.02 on everything in this scenario!)

Purchase #2

1 Zantac (pg. 5) 24-30 ct. $7.99/1
- $5/1 Zantac Product Printable = $2.99/1
[or $5 Zantac (mailer coupon)]
- $2 Zantac June RA VV coupon (use your spouse's VV coupon) = $0.99/1
- $2 +UP Reward (Limit 4) = MAKE $1.01

1 Colgate Toothpaste 2-in-1 4.5 oz. or Max White 6 oz. (pg. 1) $2.99/1
- $0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste, exp. 6/25/11 (SS 06/05/11) = $2.24/1
- $2.99 +UP Reward (Limit 4) = MAKE $0.75

2 St. Joseph Enteric Aspirin (pg. 5) 36 ct. $1.50/1 = $3
- 2 $1.50 +UP Reward (Limit 2) = FREE

2 Band-Aid Brand Children's Bandages (pg. 5) 20-25 ct. $4/2
- 2 $0.50/1 Neosporin or Band-Aid Product, exp. 6/30/11 (SS 04/17/11) = $3/2
[or $0.50/1 Neosporin Product or Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages, exp. 8/31/11 (RP 06/12/11)]
- 2 $1/1 Neosporin or Band-Aid Product March RA VV coupon (use your spouse's coupon too) = $1/2

Total before coupons $17.98
[- $3/$15 RA survey coupon - If you use this coupon, you will need to add something that costs $2.77 after coupons to your total to stay out of the negative.]
- $10.75 (in MFC coupons)
- $7 +UP Rewards (from purchase #1)
Total OOP $0.23 (Remember to use previously earned +UP Rewards to lower your OOP costs.)
earn $2 +UP Rewards from Zantac
earn $2.99 +UP Reward from Colgate
earn 2 $1.50 +UP Rewards from St. Joseph
(like MAKEing $0.76 on everything in this scenario!)

If I roll the +UP Rewards from one transaction to the next, I will end up paying a total of $2.21 OOP for products with a sale value of $34.96 (that is, if I didn't have any +UP Rewards from previous weeks . . . which, of course, I do). I will have earned $0 in SCRs which will get sent to me in check form (that I can cash at the bank) at the end of the month. I will receive a MIR check for $0. And I will have $7.99 in +UP Rewards left for other purchases this week or next. That's like MAKEing $5.78 on products with a sale value of $34.96!
