Rite Aid Deal and Transaction Scenarios 5/15 to 5/21

New to Rite Aid shopping? Visit the RiteAid page for more information.

All my scenarios will reflect my personal goal to either make money or at least not to have spent any at the end of the month - after I get my Single Check Rebate, Rite Aid gift cards, and/or MIR checks.

**Unless otherwise indicated, there is a limit of one single check rebate per item.

I'm not seeing just tons this week.

earn 2 $2 +UP Reward from Crest
earn 2 $2 +UP Reward from Colgate
(like MAKEing $1.07 on everything in this scenario!)

If I roll the +UP Rewards from one transaction to the next, I will end up paying a total of $5.90 OOP for products with a sale value of $30.40 (that is, if I didn't have any +UP Rewards from previous weeks . . . which, of course, I do). I will have earned $0 in SCRs which will get sent to me in check form (that I can cash at the bank) at the end of the month. I will receive a MIR check for $0. And I will have $16 in +UP Rewards (not sure where I got that number from, you'll have $8 in +UPs) left for other purchases this week or next. That's like MAKEing $10.10 (again, bad math; you'll make $2.10) on products with a sale value of $30.40!

  1. I just thought I would make the comment- I did the huggies deal this week and your wellness discount does play into this. :(

I ended up paying $19.18 towards two packages of diapers, unfortunetly not enough for the up rewards. I contacted rite aid and explained the situation but they said that another purchase would need to be made to get the $20 and $5 up reward.

So I thought I would put that heads up out there. If you had planned on getting a $5up just from buying 2 huggies and have a 20% wellness, well you'll need maybe a $3.50 kotex or something. :( :)

  2. Ohh, thanks for letting us know. I was getting all ready to do the Huggies deal today.

I've never had Wellness+ customer service tell me that - that I had to buy something else to qualify. I've always been told "Of course we'll mail that +UP to you, we are not in the business of penalizing our good customers just because they have been such excellent customers that they have earned a 20% discount." I wonder if you just got a "bad" cs rep. or if this is new policy.
