Tomato staking. . . We just had our first hard frost last night! It killed my tomato and basil plants (among other things). Fall is bitter sweet. My summer vegetables no longer produce; my lettuces and radishes come back with a vengence. I'm able to clear out and clean up much of the garden (that is, when I have the time).
I love these pictures. Baby looks so happy about the whole mess and the toddler dude looks just a wee bit guilty and confused as to why he's being told to smile for the camera. LOL!!!!
Ditto Challice on Tomato Staking. LOVE IT! That said, Buster still gets into mischief... ;)
: ) Yeah, Nathanael was quite content . . . white powder is very interesting. Of course, he wasn't really in trouble.
Josiah, on the other hand, was in trouble. He knew better than to get into the baby powder. I was not pleased! It had been a rough morning. The 9 year old boy that I watch asked if I was taking the picture because I thought it was funny. Ah, no! I was not amused. But . . . I knew that if I went ahead and got the picture, in a couple of days, I WOULD find it funny. So, Josiah is indeed very confused. He's wondering why Mommy is telling him in a stern, unamused voice, to stand still . . . and then taking his picture. I think that in the second picture he's thinking that he just may get away with the whole thing. You'll notice that Josiah is not in the 3rd picture. That's because he was told to sit down and fold his hands and wait for Mommy (his smile had disappeared).
I almost didn't take those pictures . . . . I was SO NOT amused at the time.
Hey! Now your floors are squeak(free)y clean! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've had that kind of week. :P Tomato staking time!

So does your house still smell like baby powder? At times like this just remind yourself that children are a blessing from the Lord. :)
ReplyDeleteAt this point, yes, the living room still has that fresh baby powder smell . . .
