Here are the highlights for this week. If you see any other fantastic deals, let me know.
- Giant Eagle's ad runs from Thursday to Wednesday.
- My GE doubles all coupons up to $0.99. (ie. a $0.75/1 coupon will double to $1.50/1)
- Don't forget to load your GE card with Giant Eagle's EOffers and with e-coupons fromShortcutsandCellfire. (If the same coupon is on more than one site, only load one at a time. After you have redeemed/used the first coupon, then go back and load the next. If you load both to your card, you will loose one of them.)
- Be careful with the CAT deals. If you do two of the same CAT deals in the same transaction, the CAT may not print. Check your ad to make sure that you separate like CAT deals into separate transactions.
- Remember, you can order coupons that you don't have from a CouponClippingService.
Also, there are 12 pages of exciting new eOffers (exp 12/25)! They may look familiar.....most of this month's eOffers are by P&G and of similar values to those that just expired. As an aside, I know that sometimes they don't work when you purchase the item--I've heard that printing each page after you have clipped the coupons will work as evidence at customer service.

Have fun shopping!
On the Ragu/Hellman's/Lipton et.al. Cat deal . . .
ReplyDeletePay close attention to the size jar you are buying. G.E. is sectioning off an end shelf with all the Cat deal items but is placing the wrong sizes on this end shelf and not giving the Cat for the deal. Technically, they're right, but it's very misleading.
I'm not the only one to go through this and it wasn't just at my G.E. Be careful. Although my G.E. was the only one that claimed to be out of the correct sizes of Ragu.
Also, you missed a deal for cat treats:
ReplyDeletePurina Whisker Lickin's various flavors
Advertised in the flier (don't know the page) as 4/$5
Two coupons from RedPlum, one $2 off any 2, and another $1 off any 2.
Coupons are combinable, although both are manufactures coupons.
So that makes it:
4/$5 - $2 - $1 = 4/$2 or $.50/ea.
Shelf price: $1.49/ea.
Not bad.
Thanks for the additional tips! I've seen several people saying that the sizes on Hellmanns is specific for the CAT, but I hadn't heard that on the Ragu. I guess this is tricky CAT week. :-P
ReplyDeleteYeah Katie, it was the 30oz Hellmans mayo. Although they had a variety of flavors. The standard flavor was in short supply when I was there, so uh, hurry! :-)
ReplyDeleteKatie, I owe you Starbucks. I saved over 50% on my bill last night, thanks to all your hard work. You are 10x's better than grocery game. Name your drink and I'll bring it to church for you on Sunday morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Dan went with me last night and he was very happy with how it shook out.) Now to put all this stuff away...
ReplyDeleteAdrienne, glad to know how we stack up to grocery game. : ) And Katie is just great isn't she!
ReplyDeleteErin
Grocery Game was great in California, but GE is a whole different beast than Safeway. As my husband put it, GE seems to be more sneaky in how they hand stuff out and play games with the offers they make. You really have to be following someone who is local to your store or it just doesn't work. (I think the owner of the local GG franchise is kind of far away.)
