Much thanks to Carrie for alerting me to this deal!!
Some areas received the ad pictured below. Check out the Huggies diapers! It's the same +UP Reward, but $1 cheaper!
Now, I know that most of the time Rite Aid will price match their own ads as long as you take a printed copy of the ad into the store with you (it can be printed off the internet).
You can either print the first page of the ad from this post, or go to RiteAid.com and print the ad from there.
Here's how the deal looks:
3 Huggies Diapers, Pullups, or GoodNites (pg. 1) jumbo pk $7.99/1 (with price match) = $23.97/3
- 3 $2.50/1 Huggies Little Snugglers or Little Movers Diapers Printable = $16.47/3[or $2.50/1 Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers Printable]
[or $2/1 Huggies Little Snugglers/Movers, exp. 12-11-10 (SS 11/14/10); Printable]
[or $3/2 Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers Printable
[or $1.50/1 Huggies Product, exp. 12-11-10 (SS 11/14/10)]
- $2/1 Huggies Diapers, Pullups or Goodnites Oct. RA VV coupon = $14.47/3
- (3) $3 +UP Rewards = $5.47/3
THEN, ADD 1 of the following items to your purchase:
1 Tide Laundry Detergent (not in ad) travel size (with 20% Wellness+ discount) = $1.03
(NOTE: Even if you don't have the Wellness+ discount, the Tide would still be a good filler.)
- $1/1 Tide Product, exp. 11-30-10 (P&G 10/31/10) = $0.03/1
OR
1 Aussie or Herbal Essences Shampoo, Conditioner, or Stylers (pg. 1) $2.99/1
- $0.50/1 Select Aussie or Herbal Essences, exp. 12-31 (RP 11/14/10 #2) = $2.49/1
[or $1/2 Herbal Essence or Aussie Product, exp. 11-30-10 (P&G 10/10/10)]
- $2 +UP Reward = $0.49/1
OR
2 Right Guard or Dry Idea Antiperspirant/Deodorant (pg. ) B1G1 = $??/2
- B1G1 Right Guard or Dry Idea, exp. 11-30-10 (RP 10/31/10) = FREE
Any of the 3 items will bring your total above $25.
Then use a $5/$25 coupon and the rest of your coupons.
Your total OOP should be between $14 and $17.
(If you have them, use previously earned +UP Rewards to bring your OOP down to almost nothing.)
Earn (3) $3 +UP Rewards for the Huggies (plus $2 +UP if you got the Aussie or Herbal Essence)
This is like paying $0.47 for 3 packs of diapers!!
Want more diapers; do the deal again using the +UP Rewards from the first transaction to pay for the second one. Your total OOP should be $0.47 or just over that!
good deal on huggies, unfortunately my riteaid said they do not price match online vs. store. So I had to get my huggies for the 8.99 price. Is there anyone else I can ask? Or just give it up?

m.winters,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that this will help (sorry I didn't see your comment yesterday), but it is the Evans City RA that has the cheaper diapers in their ad.
I've never actually heard of a RA refusing to honor a price printed in their ad. And again, I don't know if this makes any difference, but the price you wanted RA to match is NOT the online price (RA won't match their online prices). It is a price in a printed ad. Evans City has these ads in their store. I'm going to assume that you spoke to a manager about this at your store. It is my experience that different managers do things differently. If you speak to a different manager, you may get a different answer. Also, you may find that calling corporate will solve the problem. If you call and kindly explain that there is a store just north of you that had $7.99 as the sale price for Huggies and you asked your RA to match that price (ie. loyal to your store, customer satisfaction, etc.), you even took in a printout of the ad, my guess is that corporate will take care of it for you. They want satisfied, loyal customers.
Erin
Erin, it didn't work for me either. I'm planning to call corporate.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late response. Thank you for the good idea on calling corporate Erin. I'm not sure if this was corporate, I called 1800-riteaid, and spoke to a customer service rep and they checked for me if they do store to store price matches and they said no. She said some stores might do so, but maybe they are not supposed to. I should have went to a different one! heheh oh well...still a better deal than I usually pay for with diapers. Oh well on to the new deals. -mwinters ^_^
ReplyDeleteI didn't get out to RA until last night, and my RA price matched the diapers without any problems. I did call before I left the house and asked - I figured I'd call around until I found a RA that would price match, either that or I'd just drive out to the Evans City RA and buy everything there. But the first RA I called, my regular RA, said to bring in an ad or printout so they could verify that it was indeed a valid price in a RA ad. I did and they were happy to adjust the price for me.
